The AP450S– 450kVA diesel generator houses a robust and reputable Perkins 2506A-E15TAG1 engine and is suitable for a range of power applications such as a standby generator or as prime power generator supplying commercial and industrial equipment and machinery.

Standby Generator
With a standby power rating of 495kVA this 450kVA diesel generator is capable of supporting critical applications as a backup power source when the mains supply fails. By housing the engine inside a weatherproof acoustic silent canopy, it can be installed outdoors with minimized sound disturbance for surrounding neighbours.
All CPS canopied diesel generators are fitted with a long run base fuel tank, which will easily support full load for 8 hours or more, giving you peace of mind that you will have reliable backup power when the mains fails.
As an optional extra they can be fitted with an auxiliary battery charger and engine jacket water heater, so that it is ready for use as a standby generator to protect your building from an outage.

- Fuel levels, Coolant level and Battery voltage
- Number of starts and run hours
The controller provides complete protection for the engine and alternator in the case of any issues. It will prevent starting or shutdown the generator and provide alarm notification and information on screen, making it easy to diagnose and rectify any simple issues such as low fuel or oil levels.
