The Challenge

Paultons Park needed a fully automatic secondary power supply for its Viking-themed “Valgard” area — protecting the rides, restaurants and visitor amenities within it from mains failure. The system had to be specified, supplied and commissioned to a fixed timeline ahead of the area’s public opening.

The Solution

Solent Power specified, supplied and commissioned a complete standby power package built around a 600kVA Himoinsa generator, with automatic transfer and remote monitoring so the system needs no manual intervention to respond to an outage.
