The Himoinsa HBW-1260 T5 is an industrial-range diesel generator housed in a 20ft high-cube soundproofed container. A Baudouin 12M33G1400.5 engine drives a Stamford S6L1D.H4 alternator, giving 1260kVA prime and 1388kVA standby power at 400/230V, 50Hz.
At 13,720kg this is the lightest of the 1260kVA containerised sets, helped by a compact 39.2-litre twelve-cylinder engine cooled by water and 50% glycol. The 999-litre integrated fuel tank supports around six hours at 70% prime load, and the acoustic package returns 85dB(A) at 7m.
The reinforced steel chassis carries anti-vibration mounts, stainless steel fittings and lifting points for crane and forklift handling, with a viewing window for the control panel and alarms. Panel options span the CEM8 auto-start controller through to automatic units with mains control and integrated transfer switching.
