1260kVA / 1.26MVA Diesel Generator – Himoinsa – HBW-1260 T5 – Three Phase

The Himoinsa HBW-1260 T5 is a 1260kVA-class, three-phase diesel generator rated at 1,374 kVA standby (ESP) and 1,254 kVA prime (PRP). It runs at 50 Hz and supplies 400/230 V output, with an optional 230/132 V configuration.

Electrical output

The generator provides three-phase low-voltage power for large-load standby and prime applications. Output is configured for 400/230 V at 50 Hz, with an optional 230/132 V arrangement.

Engine and alternator

The set uses a Baudouin 12M33G1400.5 diesel engine and a Stamford S6L1D.H4 alternator. The engine is a 12-V, 4-stroke, direct injection design with turbocharging and after-cooling, 39.2 L displacement, and liquid cooling (water + 50% glycol). It runs with an electrical governor, dry air filtration, and 160 litres oil capacity.

Power generation is via the Stamford S6L1D.H4, a 4-pole alternator with Star-Series connection, Class H insulation, IP23 protection, self-excited brushless excitation, and electronic AVR voltage regulation, coupled via a flexible disc.

Enclosure, fuel tank, and autonomy

The HBW-1260 T5 is supplied with a soundproof canopy and an integrated 999 litre fuel tank. Onboard autonomy is ~5 hours (approx.). The packaged set weight (with liquids) is 13,720 kg.

Installation planning

Overall dimensions are 6058 × 2438 × 2896 mm (L × W × H). Site integration should be planned around the unit footprint, lifting/positioning requirements, and suitable clearances for access and airflow.
