The Himoinsa HTW-1260 T5 is an industrial-range diesel generator built into a 20ft high-cube soundproofed container. A Mitsubishi S12R PTA engine drives a Stamford S6L1D.G4 alternator, producing 1260kVA prime and 1345kVA standby power at 400/230V, 50Hz.
The shorter 20ft container makes this a considerably more compact installation than the 40ft sets at similar output, at 6,058mm long and 15,900kg. A 999-litre fuel tank integrated into the chassis gives around five hours at 70% prime load, and the acoustic package returns a sound pressure level of 89dB(A) at 7m.
Water cooling, electronic governing and a 24V electrical system support continuous or emergency running. Control panel options include the CEM8 auto-start unit with thermal-magnetic and earth leakage protection, through to automatic panels with mains control and transfer switching. The set meets Uptime Institute Tier III and IV requirements.
