The Himoinsa HTW-1530 T5 is an industrial-range diesel generator housed in a 40ft high-cube soundproofed container. A Mitsubishi S12R PTAA2 engine is coupled to a Stamford S7L1D.C4 alternator, giving 1523kVA prime and 1660kVA standby power at 400/230V, 50Hz.
Acoustic treatment using high-density volcanic rock wool and a -35dB residential silencer produces a sound pressure level of 81dB(A) at 7m, the quietest of the containerised range. The 2,000-litre integrated fuel tank supports around nine hours at 70% prime load, and the reinforced steel chassis carries lifting points for both crane and forklift handling.
Water cooling, an electronic governor and a 24V electrical system suit the set to continuous or emergency duty. Panel options run from the CEM8 auto-start controller to fully automatic units with mains control and transfer switching, and the generator meets Uptime Institute Tier III and IV requirements.
