The Himoinsa HTW-2030 T5 is an industrial-range diesel generator housed in a 40ft high-cube soundproofed container. Powered by a Mitsubishi S16R PTAA2 engine paired with a Mecc Alte ECO46.1L4A alternator, it delivers 2033kVA prime and 2268kVA standby power at 400/230V, 50Hz.
The container is insulated with high-density volcanic rock wool and fitted with a residential steel silencer giving -35dB attenuation, for a sound pressure level of 85dB(A) at 7m. A 2,000-litre fuel tank integrated into the reinforced steel chassis provides around seven hours of running at 70% prime load.
Built for continuous or emergency duty, the set uses a water-cooled, electronically governed Stage V engine on a 24V electrical system. Himoinsa’s CEM8 control platform is available across manual, automatic and transfer-switch panel options, and the unit meets Uptime Institute Tier III and IV requirements for data centre applications.
