The Himoinsa HYW-1260 T5 is an industrial-range diesel generator supplied in a 20ft high-cube soundproofed container. A Yanmar AY40L.ET engine is coupled to a Stamford PI734A alternator, delivering 1260kVA prime and 1350kVA standby power at 400/230V, 50Hz.
The Yanmar unit is the most compact engine in this output class, at 40.76 litres across twelve cylinders, and runs on a coolant-based cooling system with a radiator water level sensor. A 999-litre fuel tank integrated into the reinforced chassis provides around five hours at 70% prime load.
The container uses high-density volcanic rock wool insulation, anti-vibration mounts and a residential steel silencer with -35dB attenuation. Control options range from the CEM8 auto-start panel to automatic units with mains control and transfer switching, and the set complies with Uptime Institute requirements for data centre duty.
