The Himoinsa HTW-1900 T5 is an industrial-range diesel generator supplied in a 40ft high-cube soundproofed container. A Mitsubishi S16R PTA2 engine drives a Stamford S7L1D.F4 alternator, delivering 1892kVA prime and 2035kVA standby power at 400/230V, 50Hz.
High-density volcanic rock wool insulation and a residential steel silencer with -35dB attenuation bring the sound pressure level down to 84dB(A) at 7m. The 2,000-litre fuel tank integrated into the reinforced chassis gives around seven hours at 70% prime load, with anti-vibration mounts and stainless steel fittings throughout.
The set is designed for continuous or emergency operation, with electronic governing, water cooling and a 24V electrical system. Control options span the CEM8 manual panel through to automatic panels with mains control and integrated transfer switching, and the unit is rated to Uptime Institute Tier III and IV.
